Clearwater Jazz Holiday Announces Artist Lineup for the 39th Annual Event
Clearwater, FL – August 11, 2018 – The Clearwater Jazz Holiday brings a diverse lineup of headline acts and culinary experiences to this year’s show. The Clearwater Jazz Holiday attracts tens of thousands of visitors during the third weekend of October every year. Headlining this year’s event will be The Doobie Brothers and George Thorogood & The Destroyers. Other performers include some of the finest talents including JJ Grey & Mofro, The Devil Makes Three, Morris Day & The Time, Sheila E., Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe – Eat a Bunch of Peaches, Marcus Miller, Lao Tizer Band featuring Chieli Minucci, Karen Briggs & Nelson Rangell, Mindi Abair & The Boneshakers, Danny Kusz, Adam Hawley, Alex Harris, Greg Billings Band, Betty Fox Brass Band, Clearwater Jazz Collective featuring La Lucha, Thomas Carabasi, Jeremy Carter, Valerie Gillespie, John Lamb, Mark Moultrup, Nate Najar, Larue Nickelson, Gumbi Ortiz, Jamie Perlow, James Suggs and Butch Thomas. Crowds will be entertained by live acts Oct. 18-21, 2018.

As one of the longest-running and best-known events in the country, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday has presented multiple music luminaries of the past 37 years. The mission of the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation is to be the leading proponent of jazz entertainment and education in Florida, through the annual presentation of a world-class, live music festival. The Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that has been center-stage for numerous scholarship and educational activities benefiting the music students of the community, from blues-loving beginners to piano-playing protégés, and everyone in between. Daily general admission tickets are $15 in advance and $25 the day of the show. There are also special 4-day packages available. Children 12 and under are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Limited Reserved Seating and VIP tickets can also be purchased.
